Kalten - a mix of three medicines, beta-blocker, named atenolol, diuretic means (a water pill) hydrochlorothiazide and diuretic means of potassium-preservation amiloride a hydrochloride.

Kalten is used to consider a high blood pressure (hypertension) when the doctor decides, that in some patients, the combined effect beta-blockers and diuretic means is required and in whom potassium preservation is necessary.

* Amiloride - also diuretic means, but it works as various way.

o It blocks re-absorption salts from kidneys, but also and stops potassium were lost.

o Potassium is vital for normal action of nervous system, muscles and kidneys.

Kalten is supplied as a capsule and it is taken once a day.

It is very important to take this medicine so frequently as your doctor has told to you even if you do not feel like patients. It - because heart and problems of a blood pressure if not considered, can become progressive worse.
