Logimax contains two medicines, the blocker channel of calcium felodipine and beta-blocker metoprolol.

Logimax is used to consider a high blood pressure (hypertension).

Logimax combines two medicines which have various ways to work (ways of action) and what doctors know, that leadership to the greater downturn of a blood pressure in some people than with any medicine used one.

* Felodipine (see, Plendil) belongs to group of medicines named blocker the channel of calcium which stop the calcium entering cells through apertures (channels) within the precincts of a cell.

o Calcium is necessary for cells of a muscle to conclude the contract.

o Felodipine collides with movement of calcium in cells of a muscle of small arteries and thus forces muscles to weaken and arteries to extend, which in turn lowers a blood pressure.

* Metoprolol (see Seloken ZOK) works, blocking action chemical caused noradrenaline, which is let out from nerves in heart to operate its norm. Metoprolol also blocks other chemical named adrenaline which is a hormone (a chemical signal which bear{carry} in blood) which has similar effects to noradrenaline. Metoprolol stops these chemicals from the appendix (fastening) with the special sites named beta-receptors, in heart so they cannot make their effects.

o Metroprolol reduces intimate norm.

o It also reduces force of intimate reduction of a muscle and thus lowers a blood pressure.

Logimax is supplied as tablet which are taken once daily.

It is very important to take this medicine so frequently as your doctor has told to you even if you do not feel like patients. It - because heart and problems of a blood pressure if not examined, can become progressive worse.
